Terance and Lanaya started off as frenemies—Lanaya didn’t like Terance at first. They went to Bowie ​High School together, and Terance (a year older and very persistent) slowly worked his way into her life. From carving pumpkins to track meets where he was trying to help her get with someone else, Terance never gave up.

They bonded over food adventures, trail rides, and laughter. Terance won Lanaya over with grand gestures—like a giant Reese’s palette and a big teddy bear—and what started as high school friendship grew into something much deeper. From high school friends to lovers, their story is one of persistence, growth, and choosing each other every day.
